Ms. Langford joined Patron in 1999 as one of the original team members and has been practicing law for over 19 years. She is General Counsel and heads up the legal team, which is comprised of senior lawyers, a closing team and a human resources and regulatory compliance assistant.  She is responsible for the Fund's legal and regulatory activities, fund raising and legal risk management of the Funds' investments and operations. Ms. Langford is also responsible for the legal aspects of human resources matters.

Prior to Patron, Ms. Langford worked at Clifford Chance as a banking lawyer where she was involved in a variety of finance transactions including property finance, lending, restructuring and debt trading. Subsequently she joined Cargill Inc., where she served as in-house counsel for four years dedicated to the real estate private equity group based at its Cobham, UK headquarters. In this capacity, she handled the purchase of the first French loan portfolio for a Lehman Brothers/Cargill joint venture in a transaction conducted together with Mr. Breslauer, who represented Lehman as Cargill's joint venture partner. Ms. Langford's experience includes a broad range of single asset, financial institution, operating company mortgage-backed and consumer loan portfolio transactions, public to private conversions and initial public offerings throughout the United Kingdom, Central, Eastern and Western Europe.

Ms. Langford received a first class honours degree in law from Keele University and was educated in Brussels (St. Johns), Switzerland (Aiglon College), and Paris (Ecole Active Bilingue & Lycée Sevigné). She resides in England and is a citizen of the United Kingdom and is fluent in French and Spanish.
